Welcome to LA Sweat NEXTGEN

LA Sweat has partnered with Fate Tire to promote women's involvement in cycling and bike racing. The partnership will involve community events across the US in select cities, offering mentorship and clinics for women to get on bikes and participate in bike racing. The program will be known as LA Sweat NextGen P/B Fat Tire.

“Having Fat Tire on board for  LA Sweat NEXTGEN will allow us to reach a larger group of women that are bike curious. Provide more in depth mentorship and community building. We couldn’t be more excited to have them on board.” - Kelli Sam LA Sweat Owner/Founder

After the continued success of the LA Sweat new rider Program and the LA Sweat Junior Development team we saw an opportunity to work with Fat Tire and help build on that momentum. With Fat Tire’s support we will be able to reach a larger group of women and continue our focus in getting more women on bikes.

“Fat Tire has always been driven by a love for cycling. That, and doing right by our people and planet. We’re excited to partner with LA Sweat this season because it gives us the opportunity to do all of that and more: promote women in cycling, get more people on bikes, and all enjoy a beer at the end of the day.” - Joanna  Laubscher

“ LA Sweat NEXTGEN not only gave me the confidence to compete at the beginner level, but also provided the tools and mentoring relationships that have equipped me to succeed at the elite level, including the opportunity to guest ride for LA Sweat.” - Simone Hussussian (Program participant)

About LA Sweat NEXTGEN:

We’re on a mission to empower other women to cut the crap and be unafraid to get out there and ride. In a culture of power profiles, recovery tights, and carbon bottle cage bolts, it's nice to be reminded there are still women out there who just wanna go fast and have fun. Because bikes are fun. Riding is fun. Racing is fun. Oh, and winning races every now and then ain't too shabby either. LA Sweat NextGen is us walking the walk. With decades of experience on the LA Sweat Pro team, we want to harness the next generation of women racers. Providing mentorship, coaching, and support.
